Willie Tejada
Luis is a highly skilled Mason and Carpenter who has been practicing his trade for over 25 years. He has excellent attention to detail, great innovative ideas on how to approach tough jobs, and is so easy-going you would not believe it.
Company founder Tina Jauregui grew up poring over gardening books and trying to envision exactly where she could use each plant in her parents’ large backyard in Chico, California. She knew at an early age that she wanted to work in a plant-related field, but it was only after she took her first design class at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, that she knew she wanted to be a landscape designer.
After earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Horticultural Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she gained valuable experience working for a Landscape Architecture firm and another landscape contracting firm. In 2001, she founded Ambience Garden Design in San Luis Obispo County. Working with residential clients, the firm designed many conceptual designs for outdoor living, incorporating Mediterranean, drought tolerant, and native plants.
After deciding in 2006 to pursue her landscape architecture license, Tina accepted a job with a Landscape Architecture and Contracting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area and began attending West Valley College in Saratoga to obtain her degree in Landscape Architecture. She graduated with her A.S. Degree in Landscape Architecture in May of 2010. Tina was the founding President of the West Valley College Landscape Architecture Club from 2009 to 2011.
Ambience Garden Design re-emerged in 2008 in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been providing landscape design and consulting services to local contractors and homeowners. In 2015 Tina became a licensed Landscape Contractor (C-27 Lic. #1003318) and is now able to install her own design creations in the landscape. She also became a licensed Landscape Architect in 2017. She continues to provide dynamic plant combinations, pairing them with water-resource-management, and low-voltage lighting design. She is an Accredited Professional in Rainwater Harvesting System Design through the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association, ARCSA.
Tina’s creative capacities extend throughout her life, with her love of cooking, music, ballroom dancing and fashion design.
